Считается сильнейшим игроком в дартс в истории. В 2015 вошёл в список 10 величайших спортсменов Британии за предыдущие 35 лет по версии BBC. Профессиональную карьеру начал в конце 1980-х годов. Первый крупный титул выиграл в 1990 году.
