Лоренс Оливье
Ло́ренс Керр Оливье́, барон Оливье́ — английский актёр и режиссёр театра и кино, один из трёх наиболее востребованных британских актёров середины XX века, наряду с Ральфом Ричардсоном и Джоном Гилгудом, доминировавшими на лондонской театральной сцене. В репертуар Оливье входили роли и из античной драмы, и из произведений Шекспира, и из современных ему американских и британских пьес. На протяжении всей своей карьеры он снимался в кино, сыграв более пятидесяти ролей, а к её завершению добился значительного успеха и на телевидении. После обучения в драматической школе в Лондоне в конце 1920-х годов Оливье присоединился к труппе Бирмингемского репертуарного театра. В 1930 году к нему пришёл первый успех после постановки Ноэла Кауарда «Частные жизни» в Вест-Энде.
